Meet Dr. Rachel Elvis
Dr. Rachel Elvis, D.M.D., received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After graduating in 2022, she worked as an associate dentist for one year in a pediatric dental office. In 2023, she began a two-year Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.
Dr. Elvis has a passion for working with children and especially those with special health care needs. Her residency training equipped her to treat patients with complex medical histories as well as providing care through sedation and hospital dentistry.
Dr. Elvis is originally from the small town of Lake City, South Carolina. She attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!) where she met her husband, Ryan, of Myrtle Beach, SC. Ryan is currently in his fourth year of otolaryngology residency at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. Their daughter, Charlotte, came into the world with Hurricane Helene and has kept them on their toes ever since!
Dr. Elvis is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Elvis is certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Elvis enjoys traveling, reading, Clemson athletics, and being on the water. She and her family are members at First Presbyterian Church in Augusta, where she volunteers with the Hand in Hand Ministry. Dr. Elvis is excited to have joined the PDS team and looks forward to serving children in the CSRA.
