Dr. Will Brantley

Will Brantley, D.M.D., received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. After graduating in 2014 he worked as an associate dentist for a public health clinic and then as an associate dentist in a children’s dental clinic. In 2016 he began a Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. While in residency he built upon his work experience and received advanced training in pediatric dentistry that included sedation dentistry, hospital dentistry, special needs dentistry, and orthodontics. He was selected to serve as the chief resident for his final year and represented his department on Graduate Medical Education committees as well as the craniofacial team for the Children’s hospital.

Dr. Will saw patients in the operating room at MUSC Children’s Hospital, a level 1 Children’s Medical Center in South Carolina that is nationally ranked for its patient care. He uses this experience as he is on staff at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta. His position there allows him to treat challenging dental cases and special needs patients in a safe and secure environment. With Charleston being such a medical hub for the state of South Carolina, Dr. Will was fortunate to care for a wide variety of special needs patients in his time there. His experience working with these patients in an outpatient setting as well as a hospital setting cultivated a strong desire to devote a portion of his practice to special needs patients of all ages.

Medical technology and research are constantly changing. Dr. Will’s recent experience in an academic setting provided him the opportunity to become familiar with the next generation of dental materials. He received training in laser dentistry and its application to soft tissue procedures in infants, children, and adults. He uses a CO2 soft tissue laser in his practice.

Dr. Will is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Augusta Dental Society. Dr. Will is certified in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

He lives in Martinez with his wife Jenny and their three children. He enjoys spending time with his family riding bikes or swimming at the pool. They are excited to make Augusta their home and look forward to serving the community through Pediatric Dental Specialists.
